Zurich to Saint Petersburg

BHP flight #881 LSZH to ULLI. Flying for the now defunct Belair airlines. A former tour operator flying out of Zurich that was gobbled up by the Air Berlin group.

Ready at the gate LSZH

Departure weather was wind 041/13kts with clouds 2000 few and 3500 broken. Temperature was -2C. Using the DEGE1R departure off runway 16.

This is an early morning flight normally operated by Swiss Air but I did it in the Belair 767 of
LVD simulations.

Sunrise as I climb out of LSZH

The
LVD 767 is a bit dated now but it works flawlessly with my MPanel and it's been a while since I flew the old girl.

Sun just coming up over Germany

It was over cast most of the flight with some breaks in the cloud as we headed
out over the Baltic states. Things started to clear as I headed down over Latvia and Russia. Weather at ULLI was wind 260/10kts with clouds 1500 scattered and a chilly -16C!

This called for a LOS1K arrival on to runway 28R. Using flaps 30 and a VREF of 147kts.

Short final for ILS 28R ULLI

The base leg and final were flown by hand thus the reason I was a little hot on the speed there. It's hard to play catch up with the 767-300.

I used the excellent freeware version of ULLI found over at the Russian knock off version of
AVSIMRU. It even has moving car traffic around the airport and photo real surroundings. It is very well done.

Parked at the gate ULLI

Three hours gate to gate.......
